Eleni Diana Elia is an architect and set designer based in London, UK. Her practice uses design as a medium to challenge perceptions and assumptions about the role objects play in the contemporary human condition. Currently, her work investigates the virtual stage – an alternative to the physical – in an attempt to hoax fictional identities out of make-believe scenarios. Drawing on the methodologies of early twentieth century scientists, she uses herself as a testing ground for these ideas, becoming her own virtual guinea pig.
